Apple may launch new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros in Q3 of 2021
In the second half of the third quarter of 2021, Apple plans to release the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros with mini LED displays, with relevant supply chain partners preparing for mass production during the quarter. It appears to be moving forward.
Apple has invested about $200 million in procuring SMT equipment for four new assembly lines, as well as mini LEDs by the time shipments peak in October, to ensure smooth shipments of the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros. According to sources, they plan to add 700,000 to 800,000 SMT capabilities to their MacBook Pro devices each month.
